Jill Megredy
As the registrar at CCCKC, I supervise the maintenance, process and distribution of official records and documents, as well as the development and implementation of procedures for the registration and enrollment process. I oversee all aspects related to commencement and implement the College’s policy on the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). I have a Masters of Education from Southwestern College and a bachelor of science degree from Kansas State University. I am a member and program chair of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) and the Kansas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (KACRAO).
Andrea Pedersen
I am the assistant registrar on our Kansas City campus. My duties include assisting with the registration of students, helping facilitate the maintenance of student records, evaluating transfer credits and administering the awarding of advanced placement credits. I have a B.A. degree in elementary education from Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant. I came to the College after serving as the office manager at a physical therapy clinic in St. Charles, Mo. I also taught elementary school for six years in both Hannibal and St. Louis.
Valerie Carson
Hello my name is Val. I am the assistant to the registrar in the Office of Student & Alumni Relations/Registrar. I am presently working on my Associate’s degree, majoring in business. My primary functions are preparing and certifying request for transcripts, enrollment/graduation verification, updating student information such as grades, addresses etc. and assisting the Registrar with other various duties and information. I am also a certified notary.
