Biology-6 semester hours, 2 courses required with labs:
Bio 101, Bio 312, Bio 313 are suggested, however, any combination of 2 courses with
labs for a minimum of 9 semester hours will meet admissions requirements.
Chemistry-12 semester hours:
Three (3) semester hours must be General or Inorganic Chemistry, and at least 6 semester hours must be Organic and/or biochemistry. At least 6 hours of the chemistry courses must include related labs.
Physics and related studies-6 semester hours:
This requirement maybe met with either two physics courses, which one must include lab or 3 semester hours in biomechanics, kinesiology, statistics or exercise physiology
Physics: 103, 104, 125
ESS 302, ESS 303, Math 205
English Language skills-6 semester hours require:
English: 1113, 1213, 2113, 2123
Communications, Speech and writing courses will also be accepted
Psychology-3 semester hours required:
Psychology 100
Humanities/Social Sciences-15 semester hours:
Any combination of 15 hours from the following departments:Sociology, History, Anthropology, Speech, Psychology, Music Appreciation, Art Appreciation, Geography, English, Foreign Language, Humanities, Philosophy,Classical Studies, Mass Communication.College
Algebra-Required only for the BS in Human Biology degree at CCCKC.
