Pre-Chiropractic Curriculum

The courses listed below will meet the current prerequisite course requirements for admission into the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Cleveland Chiropractic College. All courses must be completed with a minimum grade of “C” or better. The minimum entrance grade point average at CCC is 2.50 on a 4.0 scale; however, the average entering gpa is over a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Pre-Chiropractic students must have a minimum of 90 semester hours prior to entering a chiropractic program, as well as a bachelor’s degree prior to licensure with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts. Biology-6 semester hours, 2 courses required with labs:
Any 2 Biology courses with labs, and a minimum of 6 semester hours, will meet Admissions requirements.
Chemistry-12 semester hours:
General/Inorganic: Minimum of 3 semester hours with a lab
Chem 1104, 1115, 1125, 3324, 3334, 3354-1 class
Organic Chemistry/Biochemistry: 6 semester hours with a lab
Chem 3304, 3314, 3364, 4104- 2 classes.
Additional 3 required hours can be fulfilled with any of the above classes.
Physics and related studies-6 semester hours:
This requirement may be met with either two physics courses, which one must include lab or 3 semester hours of physics with lab and 3 semester hours in biomechanics, kinesiology, statistics or exercise physiology.
