The courses listed below will meet the current prerequisite course requirements for admission into the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Cleveland Chiropractic College. This suggested coursework is based upon information collected in February 2009, and is subject to change.

Kapiolani Community College

Biology-6 semester hours, 2 courses required with labs:
Bio 171 and 171L
Bio 172 and 172L
Bio 130 and 130L
 
Chemistry-12 semester hours:
(6 hours) General/Inorganic: Chem 161 and 161L and Chem 162 and 162L
(6 hours)Organic/Biochem: Chem 272 and 272L and Chem 273 and 273L
*You may complete Chem 152 instead of Chem 273 and 273L
 
Physics and related studies-6 semester hours
Physics: Phys 151 and 151L and Phys 152 and 152L
Math 115 (Stats) may be completed instead of Phys 152 and 152L
 
English Language skills-6 semester hours required:
Courses from the English, Communications, and Speech department will fulfill this requirement.
 
Psychology-3 semester hours required:
Any psychology course
 
Humanities/Social Sciences-15 semester hours
Any combination of 15 hours from the following departments:
Sociology, History, Anthropology, Speech, Psychology, Music appreciation, Art appreciation, Geography, English, Foreign Language, Humanities, Philosophy, Classical Studies, Mass Communication

Additional coursework required for those intending to complete the Bachelor of Science in Human Biology degree
